About Sophie

A creative life rootedin the natural world.

Nature has shaped Sophie's work since her university days studying textile design. Every piece she makes celebrates the raw beauty of plants, flowers and the landscape they come from.

After an illness offered a new perspective, she took a leap into garden design — blending a lifelong creative spark with a deep-rooted love of the outdoors. Floristry followed naturally, and the two disciplines simply clicked in her hands.

Today she designs gardens and flowers across Lincolnshire from her studio near Grantham, working seasonally, sustainably and always personally.

“Every arrangement begins with nature and ends with something truly personal.”
Sophie Hermes — Founder

Design Philosophy

Sustainability sits at theheart of what I do.

A quieter way of working with flowers — slower, more seasonal, and far kinder to the ground it all comes from.

01

Inspired by Nature

Every design starts outdoors. Sophie works with the shapes, colours and imperfections of real growing things rather than forcing flowers into a formula.

02

Seasonal Creativity

British and locally grown stems wherever possible, chosen at their peak. No floral foam, no plastic — just flowers, water and craft.

03

Designed Around Every Client

Gardens and flowers are shared spaces. Sophie designs for how you actually live, entertain and move through them — and for the wildlife that lives there too.

Kind Words

5.0 on Google

Trusted for the moments that matter most.

Sophie created the flowers for our wedding and they were beyond anything we imagined. Completely natural, completely us — guests are still talking about them.

Wedding Flowers

The tribute Sophie made for my mother's funeral was so gentle and personal. She listened, she understood, and she made an incredibly hard day a little softer.

James R.

Sympathy Flowers

Beautiful seasonal bouquets every time, and always something unexpected in them. Sophie's eye for colour is genuinely special.
